Who is Jesus? | ta alphakurs

If you have heartache, click here: http://bki.no/indre  If you are seeking salvation, read on!

If you want to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, say the following words to God (see below). Remember that God loves you with an everlasting love. God will not judge you, only save you. Through faith and trust in Jesus Christ, you can be saved from sin. Remember that you can pray to God anywhere. You don't have to go to a church or a priest. God will hear you anywhere.

"God, I know that I have sinned against you and deserve punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment I deserve so that by believing in Him I can be forgiven. I turn away from sin and believe that salvation is found only in you. I accept Jesus as my personal Savior! Thank you for your amazing grace, forgiveness, and eternal life as a gift! Amen!"

The Bible says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and “the wages of sin is death.” But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The Bible also says that everyone who calls on/believes in the Lord Jesus will be saved. If you want to invite Jesus in and let Him be Lord in your life, pray this prayer out loud:

Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me Jesus, thank you for dying for me. I believe that you have risen from the dead and that you will return to me. Thank you for filling me with the Holy Spirit. Thank you for being the Lord in my life now. Amen

A slightly longer explanation:

Have you ever accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior?

Before you answer, let me explain the question. To fully understand this question, you must first understand "Jesus Christ," "personal," and "Savior." Who is Jesus Christ? Many people will admit that Jesus Christ was a good man, a great teacher, or even a prophet of God. This is absolutely true of Jesus, but it does not describe Jesus for who He truly is. The Bible tells us that Jesus is God in a human body. God became man (see John 1:1-14). God came to earth to teach us, heal us, guide us, forgive us—and die for us! Jesus Christ is God, the Creator, the Sovereign Lord. Have you accepted this Jesus?

What is a Savior, and why do we need a Savior? The Bible tells us that we have all sinned and committed evil deeds (Romans 3:10-18). As a result of our sin, we are worthy of God’s wrath and judgment. The only just punishment for sins against an eternal and infinite God is eternal punishment (Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:11-15). That is why we need a Savior!

Jesus Christ came to earth and died in our place. When Jesus died, as God in human flesh, it was the eternal payment for our sins (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins (Romans 5:8). Jesus paid the price so we wouldn’t have to pay. When Jesus rose from the dead, He proved that His death was a sufficient payment for our sins. That is why Jesus is the only Savior (John 14:6; Acts 4:12)! Do you trust Jesus as your Savior?

Is Jesus your “personal” Savior? Many people think of Christianity as going to church, performing rituals, and not committing certain sins. That is not Christianity. True Christianity is having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Accepting Jesus as your personal Savior means that you have a personal faith and trust in Him. No one can be saved through the faith of others. No one is forgiven for doing certain good works. The only way to be saved is to accept Jesus as your Savior, trusting that Jesus paid your penalty and that His resurrection is your guarantee of eternal life (John 3:16). Is Jesus your personal Savior?

If you want to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, say the following words to God. But remember, saying this prayer or any other prayer cannot save you. Only through faith and trust in Christ can you be saved from sin. “God, I know that I have sinned against you and deserve punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment I deserve so that by believing in Him I can be forgiven. I turn away from my sin and believe that salvation is found only in you. I accept Jesus as my personal Savior! Thank you for the amazing grace, forgiveness, and eternal life as a gift! Amen!”

Have you prayed the salvation prayer?

Has anyone told you that God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life? We have one quick and important question we want to ask you: If you were to die right now, do you know without a shadow of a doubt that you want to go to heaven?

Amen
